BATTERY (+) Terminal
REMOVAL
The battery is under the floorboard.
Remove the two screws attaching the battery
cover.
Pull battery out to expose the terminal leads.
Disconnect the negative (-) terminal lead
from the battery first, then disconnect the
positive (+) terminal lead.
Remove the battery from the battery box.
(-) Terminal
BATTERY INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of the removal.
When install the battery, first connect
the positive (+) cable and then negative
(-) cable to avoid short circuit.
VOLTAGE INSPECTION
Remove the battery cover.
Measure the battery voltage by using a
commercially available digital multimeter.
Voltage (20C/68F):
Fully charged: 13.0 ~ 13.2 V
Insufficient charged: < 12.3 V
