INSPECTION
Measure the connecting rod big end side
clearance.
Service Limit: 0.80mm replace if over
Measure the connecting rod big end radial
clearance at two points at right angles to the
shaft.
Service Limit: 0.05mm replace if over
Measure the crankshaft runout.
Service Limit: 0.1mm replace if over

Check the crankshaft bearings for noise or
excessive free play.
Replace if necessary.
Drive out the crankshaft bearings using
the universal bearing puller.
