 Axle Nut/Axle Shaft Looseness                        Axle Nut
 Check the front and rear axle nuts for
 looseness.
 If the axle nuts are loose, tighten them to
 the specified torques.
 Torques:
 Front: 5.06.0kg-m
 Rear: 8.010.0kg-m
 Wheel Rim/Spoke Plate Damage
 Check the wheel rim and spoke plate for
 wear or damage and measure the rim runout.




 STEERING HANDLEBAR
 Check that the control cables do not
 interfere with handlebar rotation.
 Raise the front wheel off the ground and
 check that the steering handlebar rotates
 freely.
 If the handlebar moves unevenly, binds, or
 has vertical movement, adjust the steering
 head bearing.




 DAMPING DEVICE
 SHOCK ABSORBERS
 Oil Leak/Damage
 Fully apply the front brake and check the
 action of the front shock absorbers by
 compressing them several times.
 Check the entire shock absorber assembly
 for oil leaks, looseness or damage.
 Check the action of the rear shock
 absorbers by compressing them several
 times.
 Check the entire shock absorber assembly
 for oil leaks, looseness or damage.
 Jack the rear wheel off the ground and
 move the rear wheel sideways with force to
 see if the engine hanger bushings are worn.
